Creating a Thanksgiving appetizer that will get the whole family talking can be quite the feat – so we like to rely on some of our trusted favorites. Bacon wrapped anything is usually a hit, but this year we’ve decided to pair them with our wild caught Alaskan weathervane scallops. We’ve shared our tried and true method for cooking scallops, so now that you’re a pro, let’s gussy them up a bit!
- 1 package Beetnik Weathervane Scallops
- 1 package your choice of nitrate free bacon
- salt and pepper, to taste
Preheat the oven to 400°F. Rinse your scallops, pat dry and season with salt and pepper. Cut your bacon strips in half and wrap each scallop. Secure the wrapping with a toothpick and place on a baking sheet. Roast for 20 minutes, flipping at the halfway point. Depending on how done you enjoy your bacon you can place them under the broiler for an additional 3 minutes.
