The best thing about our family size meatballs in marinara sauce isn’t just the tender grass fed meat, pasture raised chicken or the aromatic sauce – it’s the fact that you can create an absolutely astounding meal within a couple of minutes! Combined with our gluten free pasta and broccoli, we were sitting down to lunch about ten minutes after entering the kitchen.
- 1 tray 12 oz Gluten Free Grass Fed Meatballs in marinara or 2 trays Gluten Free Chicken Meatballs in BBQ sauce
- 2 tbsp butter or olive oil
- 1 pouch frozen broccoli
- 1 package Gluten Free Rotini
Quite possibly the most labor intensive aspect of this recipe, place a pot of water on the stove and when it boils, add the rotini! Let it boil for about 4-5 minutes or until tender. Drain the pasta well and toss with your choice of butter or olive oil. While the pasta is cooking, pop the meatballs in the microwave for 2 minutes, stir, then microwave for an additional 1-2 minutes or until the internal temperature is 165 F. Alternatively, you can place them in the oven at 350 for about 45 minutes.
While our meatballs were heating up, we steamed a batch of our delicious broccoli. You can read all about how to steam your favorite veggies here.
Once everything was ready, we simply emptied the broccoli into the drained pasta, added the meatballs and voila! Add some parmesan and you’re set! A delicious meal for 2-3 people.
Bon appétit, ya’ll!
