With Memorial Day coming up, it’s important to remember the men and women who gave their lives while serving in the military. We use this holiday as a time to gather our families and friends close and to honor the fallen with stories, tales of bravery and heartfelt memories. Food plays an integral part on this day, as we choose to share our love by cooking for the ones we cherish.
This Memorial Day we’ll be replicating our tried and true favorite: grilled tenderloin skewers. We used grass fed tenderloin tips and fresh vegetables, pair them with an excellent marinade and throw them on the grill for a quick and delicious meal! These are excellent as appetizers, small plates or as the main event!
Grass Fed Tenderloin Skewers
- 2 packages of Beetnik’s Grass Fed Tenderloin Tips
- red and green bell peppers
- white onions
- stainless steel skewers
- a marinade of tamari sauce, organic cane sugar, olive oil and a dash of oyster sauce
Mix together the marinade and soak the tenderloin tips for an hour in the fridge. Chop the vegetables into bite size pieces. Assemble the tenderloin pieces and the vegetables on a stainless steel skewer. Grill for 2-3 minutes on each side.
