Herb Sauce

This multi-purpose flavor enhancer goes well with many different proteins, from steaks and chicken to meaty fish like cod and tilapia.  It’s perfect for a fresh summertime meal.

  • 1 TBSP fresh lemon juice
  • 6 TBSPs (¾ stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • ¼ TSP salt
  • ¼ TSP freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 TBSP finely chopped fresh herbs, such as basil, tarragon, or chives
