Organic Spotlight: Grass Fed Beef Kheema

It was instant. The first time the Beetnik team tasted the grass fed beef kheema we knew we had a very special dish on our hands. A traditional Indian dish, Kheema (or keema) is made from ground beef, organic rice and a bevy of meticulously calculated spices.


We use 100% grass fed and organic ground beef and mix it with organic spices. Believe us, when you first taste the kheema your senses will go wild! Its fragrant and aromatic notes will rise up and greet you, while the sweetness from the carrots and the earthiness of the peas create a distinctive, mouth-watering flavor.


The recipe calls for ground beef, as the name qeema is an ancient Akkadian word meaning ‘finely chopped’. We spice this beef with an intense mix of garlic, ginger, coriander, paprika, cumin and gram masala. The key is to keep the beef juicy while the spices soak in. As soon as the ingredients come together they make the perfect dish for busy nights when you want a home-cooked meal with 100% organic ingredients!
