The perfect mix of sweet and salty, this tasty glaze is an excellent way to liven up your favorite piece of chicken. We used chicken breast, but you can definitely use our organic chicken quarters.
- 4 Beetnik Organic Chicken thighs, breast or drum stick, your choice!
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 5 tbsp honey
- 3 tbsp tamari sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 1 tsp fresh, grated ginger
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup sesame seeds
- cilantro and scallions as garnish
Preheat oven to 425 F. Line a baking sheet with foil and set aside. Whisk together the olive oil, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, sesame seeds, pepper and honey. Place the chicken breasts in the baking pan and generously brush on the mixture. Make sure you turn the chicken around so you get the other half, too!
Place chicken in the oven for 30 minutes, checking at minute 15 to make sure nothing is burning. Once finished, remove from the oven and let the chicken rest. Plate the chicken and pour the remainder of the sauce onto the finished product.
