Quick Tip: Grass Fed Beef Cooks Faster

Posted On: March 19, 2013

The finest and most tender meats are produced when cattle are moved to new pastures daily and allowed to eat the tender grasses that provide the highest energy and nutrition.  Because their diet is consistent with the history of how cattle evolved, grass fed beef is lower in fat when compared to grain fed beef.  As a result, grass fed beef cooks about 30 percent faster than grain fed beef.

When you’re cooking those tenderloins, plan for that faster cooking time and enjoy the great taste of grass fed beef.
