Wild Caught Salmon with Mango & Avocado Salsa

We’re big fans of Valentine’s Day here at Beetnik. We’ve been celebrating all week with our Special Dinner boxes and now we’re ready to show you one of our favorite romantic meals. Nothing says how much you love someone like a home cooked meal – unless it takes you three hours to make and an extra hour of clean up. No thanks! Skip the packed restaurants and cheesy themed menus and create this dish at home, leaving plenty of time for romance (and dessert! Coming next week!)


  • 2 Beetnik Wild Caught Salmon fillets
  • Mango and Avocado Salsa
    • 6oz of frozen Beetnik Mangos, thawed and chopped
    • 1 avocado chopped
    • 1 Tbsp fresh squeezed lime juice
    • 1 Tbsp olive oil
    • 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp pepper
    • 2Tbsp chopped cilantro
    • 1 Tbsp chopped shallot
    • 2 Tbsp of chopped red onion
    • A dash of habanero sauce



Marinate thawed salmon with salt and fresh cracked pepper and a tablespoon of olive oil. This can be done while preparing the salsa. Combine the salsa ingredients and set aside. Grill salmon on a preheated grill for 5 minutes and flip to other side for about 2 minutes more. Serve over polenta and top with the salsa!
